Michael Connelly, TCM Guest Programmer for March, is an acclaimed author of detective novels and other crime fiction (notably those featuring LAPD Detective Hieronymus "Harry" Bosch), most recently The Wrong Side of Goodbye. Connelly is currently producing an Amazon series, Bosch, based on the novels.

As programming picks, Connelly chooses four films from the 1970s that he saw as a teenager and considered to be "all part of the process I went through" to become a writer in the "hard-boiled" tradition...
