The only reason why I remembered that was because a couple of weeks ago a rewatched the GOT history & lores deal on youtube. The Croggomen (or however you spell it) were supposedly at the neck when the flood happened and basically bowed down the COTF, and took up some of their ways...kinda. I think legend has it that they intermixed with some of the COTF or something.
I'm excited to see how next season portrays Bran/Hodor/Meera.
Will Bran be "rooted?" I always took it that Bran would replace Bloodraven, but I guess it'll be a master/apprentice type of thing until he learns whatever he needs to learn.
There's a ton of stuff/characters I wonder about and how/if they'll do it.
Gendry
Thoros
Beric
Balon
Hound

Except when it comes to Ramsey of course. There ain't nothing good about that sucker.
It is not an extremly common storytelling device in fantasy literature does exist that people or groups of people that are portrayed as "bad" are later revealed to be "good" or at least ambiguous when the story gets around to their point of view - Ann Rice used this device a bit.
Though I think the theory of the White Walkers being forced south by an external force of some sort is less likely. Mainly because we already have the Wildlings forced south by the WW. I guess if there is a parallel to say the Germans forced west by the Huns or Mongols or whoever that would be it.

A little off topic, but there's a thread on the OT about renting midgets for parties LINK, and I posted this:

I hear it's fun to have them ride pigs and joust.

I hate we won't be getting that on screen...or at least I don't think we will. Seeing the hodors reaction to that scene alone would be gold.

There is only one ultimate evil in the land of Westeros, and that's GRRM.

Is Jon gonna bang another wildling?

If this is supposed to be de facto Val, I am bitterly disappointed.

Google Birgitte Hjort Sørensen. She cleans up pretty nice. And the speculation I've seen is MAYBE a combination of Val and a willing warrior chieftain/princess.

Pretty much this. Don't get me wrong, the Others are evil as can be. They seek only darkness and death. But the result of their destruction is typically rebirth and the unifying of everything else. Now that we have individuals like Cersei, Gregor Clegane, Qyburn, and the Boltons, a little scurge of humanity might not be a bad thing.

I guess, but I was hoping for something more like this.

Then Andels came and pushed the COTF past the wall.
Children withdrew on their own free will which is why some believe they may be siding with the Others. Almost as if they grew disgusted of man's evilness and decided the Others were the actual good the world needed. I don't see that happening though.
