I watched the first season when I had cable and enjoyed it, however, I haven't watched an episode since.
I did the free 30 days with HBO go and I watched Westworld and a few movies, I still have through Jan 20 and I'm off until Jan 6.

So is Game of Thrones a must watch show?

That's doable at less than 5 or 6 hours per day.

Easily. I think I did it in about two weeks while going to school and working full time

6 episodes a day? That's a breeze

I've watched like 30 parks and Rex/community episodes while sick before

Easily. Go for it. It's worth it for the last episode alone.

It's easy to do. You will get sick of the theme song long before you tire of the show, however.

One of my friends binged S1-S5 within a 6 day period right before S6 started. So yeah, it's doable.

Yes, i just did it.

Watched the first 4 episodes in 3 days, then watched the remaining 56 in 12 days.

I actually took days off during that.

One day i watched an entire season.

ETA: I also did all of this on the free trial , which I got 12/1.

I have watched all of Westworld and the first season of True Detective too.

Best Free trial ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are going get into GOT, may I suggest Emergency Awesome's youtube channel. He does a great job explaining the lore in the books and adds depth to the HBO series. He does alot of videos, so just find the GOT ones.

Not to hijack, but my GF wanted to watch Game of Thrones the other day. We got through the first episode and she decided it was a little too much going on for her.

I am extremely disappointed. I figured she'd let me binge another show with her and it'd be one I liked. We've done Scandal, Blacklist, Shameless, and a few others. I thought it was my turn.
