came to post the celery poster. perfect thread for it 
anyways, like has been said, cory kinda sucks once they get married and even a little before that. in college, everyone kinda develops into this super annoying hyper exaggerated version of themselves from earlier in the series. becomes the epitome of average/boring/controlling. shawn becomes more of a weird artsy hipster thing that is still way too edgy and cool. eric goes into this weird fricking character that is absolutely hilarious to me, honestly, but it's way different than what he should be.

And I agree the cast when through the typical 90s comedy augmentation (like a lot of other TGIF shows)
Eric went from lazy student to psychopathic window-licker
Cory went from neurotic awkward teen to overall cornball dork
Shawn went from cool loner to emo poet
Topanga went the opposite way - werido to normal person

There's no biggest loser in TV history...most characters had some redeeming qualities.
Except for Skippy.
Even his name was pathetic. Irwin "Skippy" Handelman???
His redeeming quality was pining for a girl so far out of his league...it was creepy.
How was this Alex P. Keaton's best friend? Alex was smart as hell...Skippy was dumber than Mallory (and we know Alex looked down upon her as a moron) - so why would he hang with this creepy doofus who salivates after his sister like a Pavlovian dog?
Boner from Growing Pains had more redeeming qualities than Skippy.
