They can talk about mental health all they want. Most of these killers are born with an evil that most of us will never know. At some point their consience is seared.
They are just bad. Our country will never have the will to do what truly needs to be done with these people.

I told several school officials this. You know what I was told? What can we do about it? The chances are he's lying (which is almost certainly true, he lied about a ton of stuff). We can't prove anything and his mother won't answer our calls. We legally can't do anything else.
Really showed how odd our society is.

Yup, as a teacher I've come across a few students here and there that I wonder if I'll be seeing a news special about down the road. There are generally signs for these types of kids, but little or nothing is typically done even if it is brought up.
Or in some cases these types of kids are special needs/IEP students, so they are enabled to be worse than they would be otherwise.

Apparently school officials went to great lengths to make sure that people who were associated with the two shooters didn't have a great deal of access to counseling and other needs.

I wouldn't say not getting counseling as a survivor is more horrifying than multiple murders

20/20 interview was very good. She understands her role in this and is very easy to sympathize for her. I believe she is a victim in this thing too. Teenagers are great at hiding their true feelings.
