He didn't hire them. They weren't paid to kill anyone. They were weak minds that did what they thought Manson wanted them to do in order to please him. They idolized him and would do anything for him.

Exactly and he flat out told Tex Watson to goto the Cielo house and kill everyone inside. Then, told the girls to go with Tex and do exactly what he said.

Actually he told Watson that it was "time for Helter Skelter to begin", then when Watson drove the girls to the Tate house where Terry Melcher used to live, Watson told the girls to "destroy everyone inside". Believe me I'm not advocating Manson innocence but Bugliosi was out to get him from the beginning. I've read Helter Skelter and he pretty much admitted to that.

Seeing as he was being paid to do exactly that, I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. It was his job to make the case against everyone involved.
