I can't wait for this one. Hopefully Blomkamp learned from his Elysium mistakes.

Like not being a fricking socialist with a toddlers moral code? Maybe, but I think it still seeps through.
FWIW, I loved district 9.
Also, I hate how all of his movies look the exact same. It's a pet peeve with me and some directors but with him, it's really really obvious.

The trailer for this I saw on TV the other day made it seem like a transformer type action movie which is way off of what I felt from the original trailer
Sounds like the studio wants to sell it as something it's not

This trailer makes it look like Blomkamp might be repeating some of the aspects from elysium that did not work. However, it also looks like this film might contain some really meaningful insight into a discussion that humanity might be having in the very near future.
It'll probably piss some people off, maybe even scare few. But if Blomkamp can give this movie the right feel, he just might change the way a lot of people look at the concept of artificial intelligeence.
Count me in the can't wait group on this one

Scare people? If anyone's going to be scared by this stuff, it'll be from this movie.

Do you not know die antwoord.
Was on a flight from Narita to LAX a couple of years ago... they were on the same flight.
She is actually very attractive in person and was pretty low-key, even though she was in some incredibly short and very loose fitting shorts.
He must have hit the call button for the flight attendant about 10,000 times always asking for something.
I had no clue who they were at the time and just assumed they were some nouveau rich people with more money than sense (redundant?). I did my best to ignore them except for when she got up to go to the rest room.
As for the movie Chappie -- looks too much like Elysium crap to me, I'll wait for it to hit cable.
Ex_Machina looks fantastic.
