Casino Royale turns 10 years old today

I remember going into that movie the night of its release and not knowing what to expect. So much negativity was out there concerning the look of Bond, the lack of gadgets, and a bunch of other stuff. I came away from it pleasantly surprised and now rank it as one of the Top 3 best films in the franchise. Martin Campbell resurrected the franchise with Goldeneye and did it again with Casino Royale.

the first 10-15 minutes- the parkour scene, were some of the best moments in Bond history

For all it's faults, I kinda liked Qos. Skyfall was great the first time around but gets worse with age. The last one was meh to reslly meh

I was really surprised how much I enjoyed Skyfall the first time around but how much I loathed it when I caught it a couple of years later.

Casino Royale hasn't aged at all. It's arguably the best Bond movie of them all. The story, direction, acting, cinematography, and score are perfect. It didn't try to be anything more.
Martin Campbell should tasked to do every new Bond actor's first film.

Casino Royal is one of my favorite movies. The other Craig Bonds have been terrible to me. I really dislike the last two Bond films. I don't think they get the character right.
