Very good documentary available on Netflix, can't recommend it enough. It's hard to explain, but the guy and his story is just incredible

If you're a fan of his writing you must watch this, he reads many passages from his work throughout the movie and his mood and inflection when reading gave me a lot of insight into his writing.

I already watched his documentary: Barfly, staring Mickey Rourke.

All I remember about that documentary is all the aimless driving around with Bukowski rambling about the city.
