FWIW I haven't seen it, but from what I've heard (from one person), it wasn't bad.

Bump for more opinions, to include Shad's.
ETA: Just trying to get others opinions. Myself and four others I know watched it (not together), did not care for it. Pretty small sample size. Seems like some people liked it.

I watched it last night and thoroughly enjoyed it...it starts a little slow, but gets good....But poster above is right about alot of "cop cliches"

We got it from the Redbox last night and all watched it. It wasn't too bad but it seemed very slow and dragged out.

I agree......starts slow. But this is a good flick. Kind of reminded me somewhat of a condensed version of The Wire. It even has a couple of The Wire characters in it.

I like Richard Gere but I thought he was miscast in this. He's in his 60's playing a 43 year old. Snipes and Cheadle were perfect as brothers and Will Patton put up a nice little supporting part. I know Ethan Hawke has a couple oscar nods on his resume but I still find him to be underrated. I'd like to see him team up with Tarantino. Hawke is the man.
Didn't care much for the movie, overall. Storyline was choppy and like someone else said it never went everywhere.
