With his next "blockbuster," Furry Vengeance, coming out in a couple of weeks I got to thinking, is there anyone in Hollywood who picks worse roles than him? Does he even read scripts? He needs to fire the hell out of his agent.

Beat me to it. I think Eddie is passing those horrible roles onto Brendan Fraiser now.

He's the only person I could think of that comes close, but I still think that Fraser "wins."

I don't think it's that he picks bad roles, I think it's that only bad roles are offered to him. He's not a good actor, so no good directors want him in their movies.

I disagree.

One Hour Photo
Death To Smoochy
Insomnia

I like Bicentennial Man, although I understand those that don't.

Now after those I would agree.

Well you can attack Fraiser, but the three mummy movies have brought in roughly 1.2 billion with a B dollars.

And Journey To The Center Of The Earth brought in another 250 million.

So someone out there must like him.

He's a decent actor but he seems to be type-cast lately. He needs to make a good war movie or be a psycho killer role to break out of the kiddie flicks.

I read an interview with him a few years ago, and he said he started doing more "family-friendly" movies when his kids started wanting to see his movies. I guess RAW was a bit much.

It is what it is with Brendan Fraser. I don't expect to see him in any great movie. Or any movie that I'm really ever going to watch for that matter. So it really doesn't bother me.

Your loss. Mummy 1 and 2 were entertaining. By Mummy 3 it was just over played. I can't imagine why they are doing a mummy 4 except as I said all 3 made about 400 million worldwide.
