On their cross-country drive, a married couple, Jeff (Kurt Russell) and Amy Taylor (Kathleen Quinlan), experience car trouble after an accident. Stranded in the New Mexico desert, the two catch a break when a passing truck driver, Red Barr (J.T. Walsh), offers to drive Amy to a nearby café to call for help. Meanwhile, Jeff is able to fix the car and make his way to the café, only to find his wife missing and Barr claiming ignorance. Jeff then begins a frenzied search for Amy.
This is a fun 90s thriller to stream. I feel like we don't see a lot of movies like this anymore, but I could be wrong.

It's not what I want, it's what you want, and how bad you want it. 'Cause it's gonna cost you. Can't show it to you right now, but it's about 5'5", 115 pounds, three or four of that just pure tit. Nice curly brown hair, upstairs and down. Interested?

These mid 90's action movies are outstanding.

Loved JT Walsh in Blue Chips and Sling Blade.

Vanished or The Vanishing is another one. Jeff Bridges and Kiefer Sutherland IIRC

I bet this movie contributed to the distrustful reputation of truckers

JT Walsh and John Caroll Lynch are both really good at playing creepy middle aged white guys. and play characters that you generally just want to die.
breakdown is a really good thriller.

Is this the movie where he pretends to be a dount magnate? If so, good times. Fun film.
Medium-sized budget action films can be super fun.

I got upset when I heard they were remaking Big trouble.

Meh. I think Big Trouble is fairly untouchable, but if anyone can be Kurt Russell, it's the Rock. I think he gets the joke.
But Carpenter remakes have been uniformly terrible.
