Just finished season 1. I like it a lot better than the showtime show. Anyone else seen it?

Had to stop watching the Showtime show when the incest started. Too gross.

John Doman was dominate as Rodrigo Borgia and his portrayal was more believable than the somewhat effeminate Jeremy Irons.

As previously mentioned Isolda Dychauk as Lucrezia was extremely pleasing to the eye.

All around it was a better production than the Showtime effort. Although I did like Sean Harris as Micheletto in the Showtime version.

The Netflix version finished the story while the Showtime one was cancelled. I watched both, the Netflix version is way better imho.

I was just about to make the same obsevation. It was rather cool the way they ended the series.

Everything, IMHO, about the version on Netflix was superior to the Showtime series. Mark Ryder as Cesare Borgia had a tendency to over act some of his scenes but it wasn't brutal.

I didn't know the Showtime was canceled. I kind of assumed the Showtime would be better, and more realistic. I've been impressed with Tudors so far so I expected similar with Borgias. Glad I read this thread beforehand.
