Wait I really liked season 3. I meant started to hate it in season 4. No Jimmy and Van Alden as a fricking salesman. No thanks. I also really hated that new guy that had the weird sex things and came in trying to run shite, his character annoyed the shite out of me.

Hell yes it is good. IMO better than GOT or True Detective, 2 shows folks on this board overrate.

Agree with the assessment. The first 2 seasons were really good but after killing off one of my favorite characters it wasn't as good to me although it is still a good show.

Season 1 & 2 were 9.0 to 9.5
Season 3 was the best season
Season 4 was more of an 8.0

He is really good in Boardwalk as Capone. It took me forever to figure out I knew him from playing Tommy in Snatch

Season four kind of sucked, honestly. I think the Dr. Narcisse character is pretty awful, I know he's pretty much a vehicle to get Chalky more screen time but his character just seemed forced and shitty.

I don't know if I loved Gyp...I mean the actor did a great job, but it was hard to buy that a guy like that would have made it as far as he did.
It was worth it just for that Harrow shootout scene though.
I agree that Season 4 is probably my least favorite season at the moment. It may change when I rewatch the series though.

I always saw Gyp as pretty much the Clemenza or Tessio to Masseria, he had his own crew and territory or what not but he was in over his head dealing with the Nucky-Masseria-Rothstein triangle.
