Basically told him to take the girl home and tell the Mother not to ask any questions. And that no more payment would be coming for her to be a prostitute for the Commodore.

This part of the flashbacks makes my skin crawl...

Now just one left.

I don't want this show to end.

I have a feeling Nucky gets knocked off though. Especially since the made the comment in this episode about you don't know what it's like until it's you and then you can't tell anyone.

I don't like how they are ending the show with Nucky completely nutless like this. They need to let him have some vindication in the last episode

I had a bad feeling about what could happen to Eli in this episode. But I agree with you. I think Nucky gets whacked.

I don't think he gets whacked and he might not be totally destitute. Remember him telling Margaret to short some shares for him in addition to the other shares. Cocky bitch disregards his advice when he recommends that she short some for herself as well. Wish someone would have popped her.
Gillian ... on the other hand is as corrupt as Nucky. Will be interesting to see if he gets her out of the nuthouse and the two of them join forces one last time.

So many things could happen in the next episode... I can't wait.
They're setting it up for Nucky to hit it big on his shorts of the Mayflower Company. He may have one more trick up his sleeve or that may just be his retirement plan.

Yep. I don't think he is too worried about the financials of losing the booze/club business on account of the money he'll make on stocks.
Wondering if Nucky thinks he can use Gillian to kill Lucky. She can definitely get close to him.

Wow. What. An. Episode.
If Nucky gets whacked how will he save Gillian and make the story come full circle? There have been li es foreshadowing his death but there are also foreshadowings of other outcomes. I just don't know how this will turn out.

I think that's what he ends up living on. Or at least they give that impression then BAM he gets knocked off.
I honestly don't even know at this point.

Does anyone know whether or not the finale will be more than sixty minutes?

I'm showing 9 to 10:05 on the guide. And we all know HBO loves them some 5 minute recaps to start it off.

Probably cost prohibitive, but finale "should" be two hours.

I'm not pleased with how the show is wrapping up the Nucky/AC storyline, but it's likely pretty true to history so you can't really hold it against the writers. The only complaint is the hurried feel to its ending given the abbreviated season. I'll say this, it would be quite a "cheap" end to have Nucky dance off into the sunset flush with cash from rolling the dice on a stock market play when he just lost most of his fortune in the market.
No idea how it all ends but it doesn't appear to be a happy one for ole Nuck.
