I am on episode 6 in season 3. The only analogy I can make is the old joke about a camel being created by a committee.

Did they put 10 writers in a room and let each one add anything they wanted to the script?

Only spoiler question I have: Does OJ make a guest appearance?

lost their tax credits to keep making the show in the keys. had to wrap it up in 3 seasons and instead of 5 which totally tanked the last season.

does anyone know the IRL timeline of writing script/shooting and when they lost the tax credits?

Without going into anything specific in season 3, it kinda seemed to me like they were kinda hasty in how they did things. I'm wondering if they were already in the middle of filming S3 when they found out they couldn't shoot there again.

i believe the credits were taken away before filming started, but it still totally screwed up their overall plans for season 3.

If that were the case, it should have been just one season. I truly loved Season 1. just cut out the last scene and thats it

Just wait until you get to episode 9 when it seems like all the writers decided to drop acid before writing the script.

You've watched the last decent episode. Turn away now. You are about to get mad.

I enjoyed the whole series and didn't mind the dream episode. What I hated was how Meg's story ended. Absolutely dreadful.

The only thing that would've kept me interested in season 3 is nude shots of Meg. Just seemed like they had to rush things to try and finish.

Since they only had one season and wrap everything up instead of 3 as planned, it’s clear the writers didn’t know what to do or how to do it and just sort of gave up. It’s a shame

The best example of this is Ozzys storyline. They wrote him into season 2 with a much bigger plan, so then he just existed with no point in season 3
