Better Call Saul/Breaking Bad question (Obvious BB spoilers)

Being that Walter has tied up many loose ends, all those in question who were associated with Saul and knowledge of his backroom deals concerning Walter are now dead or gone..aside from Skyler, and besides legal shadyness, she doesn't know the 100%.
The only thing that I think could legally tie him in to anything, was the confession Jesse made on tape for Hank..which was confiscated by Jacks crew (and possibly destroyed before the police were called to the scene after Walter's comeback)..
So, now could he return to Albuquerque?
The DEA didn't truly know of his involvement, the bodies of their agents have been found, Walter has been found, the Lab was located at Jacks compound..Its Jesse's fingerprints that will be on everything. Only Hank and Gomez know of Huell and Kuby's involvement with Saul. Hank and Gomez are not talking..
Surely this story, as high profile as it was, made news somewhere. Saul would eventually find out how things unfolded..if there is no one left to threaten him..what is keeping him in Omaha now besides fear, which could be eliminated upon learning the news?
I can see why Jesse would still be on the run, but if there are no witnesses to any of his crimes, and no evidence, seems as if he could legally exonerate himself after what was a much needed "vacation".
And for example..Jesse could turn himself in and put out a message asking for Saul Goodman, through news feed it could reach him. Jesse tells him the location of one of Walter's barrels. They find a way to take care of Kaylee Ehrmantraut and brock? lol
I think it could go back to season 1 in which Mike tells him about finding the Kettleman family.."no one wants to leave home".

Huell. That dude is still waiting in that hotel room ready to spill the beans. He's just needs Hank to show back up to let him out.

i always thought saul left b/c of the non-police threats more than anything else

That's a pretty good point,
but Saul was Walter and Jesse's lawyer. It'd probably be pretty easy for investigators to figure that out, and want to start looking into Saul's dealings which aren't exactly spic and span.
I'd assume that just because Walter and the relevant antagonists are dead, and Jesse is on the run, that he is still heavily implicated in the investigation.

I agree, but even before meeting Walter and jesse, he was fully expecting that one day someone may kill him for something. Whoever Lalo is, saul seems to have fricked him over with nacho at some point.
He has to have kept up with news if he's as paranoid as he seems to be. I'm sure Walter's antics made print somewhere while concluding the series. Most of his threats are gone.

Hank and Gomez knew of his involvement. A man can be a lawyer to people suspected of crime, client privilege. I don't know of any real evidence that can be brought against him that he couldn't legally defend himself from, assuming Jack's crew got rid of the confession jesse made before the police were involved at the compound. I don't see why theyd keep it after the got what they needed.
