i posted about this earlier, but i feel like i'm almost at my end with Netflix, at least in terms of movies. since it's the offseason, i have started watching a lot of movies again. in a normal weekend i knock out 4-6 per weekend (this weekend: Mean Girls, Joe Rogan: Live, Honeymoon, Hot Girls Wanted, Banshee Chapter, Before I Disappear, and This is Spinal Tap), and if i'm antisocial that can be 8ish (i am including docs and re-watching in this)
i have some movies on queue, but when i search (or look at what netflix recommends), i keep having to look harder and harder
genres i am interested in at the moment in terms of fiction:
dark dramas
quirky dramas/comedies
creepy horror movies
crime movies
existential movies
dark comedies
i also like good historical, paranormal, and social documentaries. i'll also watch nonfiction related to cooking or health
if Netflix isn't good for this, I also have a sub to Amazon Prime (which has some good movies the flix doesn't. I saw Under the Skin last weekend and that was really good. i don't think that's ever been on netflix).

All I know is that the selection at Redbox, Amazon, etc is starting to make me miss movie stores

Is going over to a friend's house to watch a move all that different than watching that same movie being streamed over the internet by an anonymous friend?
