I saw this live, and couldn't believe that he pulled this. After getting fired from SNL and slowly building his career back, getting a movie deal and triumphantly returning as host to SNL, he slams the show in his monologue. I could not believe what I was seeing, so fearless and awesome, but I'm sure it permanently hurt his career.

It was awesome to see the host be able to keep up with him a bit. Not saying Miller is as funny as Norm but he was just as engaged in the interview. I don't particularly like how late night hosts do all the fake laughing and kinda stear Norm into whatever direction. Almost seems like they're babysitting him. That was more like him and Miller shootin' the shite.

Should be great. I saw Norm solo a few years ago and it was the hardest I've ever laughed. He does shite live that you've never seen on TV, but also mixes in classic material and plays off the audience. He's very relaxed and comfortable without cameras rolling. Comes accross as a lot more spontaneous than the standard stand up routine.
