every movie is worth a watch. You'll either like it or not.

Got a thread I just started this morning after watching the extended cut. Still first page I think.

I think it's worth it.

I was in the same boat as you. I watched the theatrical version and was pleased. It wasn't near as bad as I expected and I was glad I watched it. I am now really looking forward to the extended cut.

It's awful. Truly awful and I think it's a very very bad sign that people found it enjoyable. I don't blame them but I think it's bad that we can let such low quality get encouraged. There might have been some interesting aspects of the film, but there was so much innthebapproach and the execution that is simply unacceptable.

What the hell? We don't have to like the same movies, or have the same taste in clothing or food either for that matter, but if you like something that I don't, I don't have the arrogance to say "that's a very very bad sign".

It's the first live-action film combining Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. The special effects are top notch, just as good as any Marvel film.

Ben Affleck's Batman is as good as Chris Evans' Captain America or Michael Fassbender's Magneto. Dark, brooding, unhappy with the way the world is, and doing things about it.

Henry Cavill's Superman is as powered up as Chris Hemsworth's Thor, he looks exactly as he should (well, technically minus the red pants), and his relationship with Lois is no worse than, maybe a little better than, Thor's with Jane.

Gal Gadot's Diana Prince is as intriguing as Black Widow undercover, and when she unleashes, is just as impressive as any superhero we've seen on film.

The overall plot is not any more farfetched than CA: Civil War. If anything, we see probably a more realistic angle; the opposition to a superpowered figure is not some super-secret evil organization or forces from another world, it's public and government apprehension about someone who, if he so chooses, can act without consequence.
Both Luthor's and Wayne's motivations are completely believable, and given the immense resources they have (both are right on par with Tony Stark financially, who foots the Avengers' tab), anything that either come up with, is no more outrageous than anything we see from Stark or Xavier.

Nothing from this film is any more far-fetched than watching three flying aircraft carriers lift off from hangers in the Potomac, in the middle of D.C. No plot device is more bizzare than rewriting the Cuban Missile Crisis into an anti-mutant armageddon, or having someone transport RFK Stadium smack-dab onto the White House lawn.

edit to add: nothing in this film is any less believable than some bizarre madman walling off an entire city and taking it hostage with a nuke, or a super-secret agency of assassins plotting mass genocide by unleashing a fear gas and releasing the criminally insane, either.

It wasn't the movie you imagined it would be. That can be aggravating at times, sure; but this is not a movie from a single novel. There are lots of comics with these characters, and some are just like in the film, some are darker, some are lighter.

I didn't think it was good at all, but I still wouldn't discourage others from watching it and forming their own opinion.

I actually entertained myself by laughing at it with friends afterwards, so it wasn't a bad experience.

I mean, its garbage. If you want to watch it, you deserve to suffer through it like I did. As far as the movie itself is concerned, I think it may be the worst theater experience I've ever had.

Worth the watch: Ben Affleck is possibly going to be remembered as tGOAT Batman. He awesome. Jeremy Irons was solid as well. The movie is fricking horrible, and Batman is the one silver lining. His solo movies should be awesome.

Why I'll never watch the film again: I'd rather jack off with sand paper than watch Jesse Eisenberg's rapefest of one of my all time favorite comic book villains.

Then of course you have his plot line, the Superman battle, and plenty of other retarded shite.

frick Zak Snyder.
