It's not a great movie or anything. Doomsday was needlessly shoehorned in, Lex is absurd, and nobody's motivations make any sense (other than Batman's)

That said, it has a lot of good stuff in it and I don't think the "tone" is really that bad. It's not as light as a Marvel movie but these characters aren't as light. Unless you're Chris Nolan when you try to make a DC movie "funnier" you end up with Batman Forever.

Not a masterpiece, not dogshit.

A lot to like and a lot to dislike.

It's a B-/C+ movie, that could have been an A if it wasn't trying to do 500 things in one movie.

That's bullshite. Not all DC characters are like Batman, which Snyder seems to be thoroughly convinced. A Superman film should be much more fun, light, and whimsical than what we were given.

There is a happy medium between these two. Look at any DCAU title or Civil War if you want an example on how to handle that.

It makes Man of Steel look like a cinematic masterpiece.

Agreed. I loved the tone, and the continued exploration of "this is what it would be like in the real world if they were among us."

Please tell me there's a Wasp deleted scene that I'm unaware of.

It's dog crap in my opinion and I'm a person that usually likes any movie as I just view it as entertainment. With BVS I was literally laughing at how bad some of it was.

Eisenberg was a horrible pick for Lex Luthor. That in itself ruined the movie for me.

Eh... My problem centers around Batman-- if he's willing to kill in this universe why is the Joker still alive, hell why is the Suicide Squad a thing, wouldn't he just bust out the Bat Sniper rifle and start popping heads?
