Watching it now, Why was Rachel Dawes such a bitch to Bruce? He would totally be justified to want to kill the guy that killed his parents..
Also, Wayne is worth billions. He is walking around without a body guard and some mafia thug has him roughed up? Why would he do that. Wayne could have hired some underground mercenary group and brought in a couple of dozen black-op type guys to wipe out that whole syndicate in a night (if he planned it right). I don't think that Falcone guy would have done a thing to him..

She was probably pissed because she gave him a lift to the hearing and if he killed that guy that would have been the end of her career. 
And the mafia guy kind of had to rough Bruce up a little. Bruce was trying to show him up in front of everybody so he couldn't let that slide without looking weak. I guess as a "courtesy" he didn't either kill him or really hurt him. Plus, he made it clear to Bruce that he knew who his friends were so that Bruce wouldn't be inclined to hire a hitman or something.
