Since Sci-Fi is such a popular topic today, who was a fan of this show?

Not when it came on, but last year I watched the entire thing.

Season 1 was kind of blah, but 2-4 were great television.

1 was slow, but the rest were great. Used to regularly watch this on Sci-Fi after class at 5:00 until they moved SG1 into that slot.

Too bad the spinoff with the Rangers was such cheesy crap.

I have avoided it. Seems like a good choice then.

Sheridan was kind of a douche in Seasons 4 and 5.

Always loved Jakhar though, he was the man (or the Narn).

Jakhar

His character had a nice evolution through the series.

I'd almost say he's the one that did the most changing from first episode to last. Even more so than Sheridan or Delenn

This is an underrated show. Agreed 2-4 are great. I tried watching that newer movie that came out, kinda bland though.

thirdspace and the pilot movie were good though, call to arms as well.

If anyone starts watching this they definitely need to start with the pilot movie In The Beginning to get the history with the Membari (spelling?).

I may do this as well if I can find it cheap.

eta: I'm sure everyone knows that Delenne was the crazy french chick on LOST.

I'm fairly certain they were $19.99 each, so $100 for the series

Thanks a lot, Psych. Because of this thread I decided to rewatch the entire series

Already watched all of Season 1 and started Season 2 two nights ago. Hoping to finish the series by the end June

Use to watch it all the time back in the day.

The switch to TNT though was not good. Still one of the more underrated Sci-Fi shows. If it had come out during the internet age, it would have been a bigger hit

Really fun show. Deals with a lot of political philosophy that I think other Sci-Fi shows have always missed the boat on in the midst of their space battles.

Don't think I ever watched a single episode of this one.

What say you Freaux, should I give it a shot?

I'm going to say a hesaitant yes. It can be a little cheesier than something like BSG, but like the above comment, it touches on a lot of political subjects that other shows don't.

Some of the actors are awful though (Doc), but others are great (Jakhar).

He even used my post in his hesitant recommendation. Don't you feel like a splintered a-hole now.
