I didn't see the basting of Boomerang mentioned yet on this board. Looks like Nick Tarabay (another Spartacus actor) has been cast as Boomerang, and will be appearing on Arrow first.

its interesting that he will show up on Arrow first. I feel this will be part of the crossover and Boomerang will jump over to the Flash after.
Kind of feels like the villains will be a big part of crossovers between the 2 shows.
eta: so lets add up the flash villains we know will appear
captain cold, weather wizard, heatwave, Grodd (all but confirmed), now Boomerang. That's a big part of the rogues gallery already.

I'm wondering if the reason they are introducing him on Arrow is because his back story will include a previous stint with the Suicide Squad. That seems like a good way of introducing him.
And I definitely think that we will see the formation of the Rogues at some point in the Flash series. But I kind of hope they hold off for a season before doing that. Let them introduce the characters this season, and then let them come together next season. They bet they will also introduce Mirror Master at least, and maybe trickster & Abra Kadabra (btw, the 4th episode of Arrow this season is entitled "The Magician").
And Grodd isn't "all but confirmed", the showrunners have already stated (I think it was at Comic Con) that he will definitely make an appearance at some point on The Flash.

I agree that I hope the rogues dont form just yet. They seem to already be establishing Zoom as Season 1 big baddie. I think the rogues will be more like Arrow's "villain of the week" that will have more of a connection. Like what Arrow said about this year's villains.

these will be fun to see how they are used in the show. Pied Piper and Trickster especially can be a bit cheesy.
The Top has a pretty crazy history with Barry. itll be interesting to see how they use him as well. I think he will be one of Barrys "heroic lessons," that if you dont control yourself, you can really hurt others with your abilities.
