I wasn't super impressed until I hit like episode 4 or 5 or something around that.

This. It definitely takes 3 or 4 episodes to get going.

You have to pay attention. It's not a show to have on in the background if you expect to catch the nuances.

It's probably not for everyone, but keep going would be my answer.

How many eps in are you? I just started it again, probably my 4th or 5th viewing, and I can see your point about not grabbing a new viewer. Just finished ep. 4, Key Decisions, and it's still my favorite show, but I know how much better it gets. It really hits its stride around 3/4 thru the 1st season and onto the 2nd. I'm really curious though how far you got and encourage you not to give up on it just yet.

Yes. Not finished season 1. It gets much better? I don't hate it, but, it's merely pleasant so far.

Thats the last words you could possibly use to describe this show

This has to be a troll

Not trolling at all. The narcissistic mother, the vacuous sister, the goof ball brother, the schizoid brother and the kinda horny son are really very predictable. The lines that come from them are exactly what you'd expect.

Again, I don't hate it and I'm gonna keep watching but so far, I don't get the love for it.

What are you missing? A sense of humor, I'd guess.

Clearly not based on what I do love. I figured this would be right up my alley, but so far it ain't Simpsons, Seinfeld or Curb Your Enthusiasm great.

I'm in the same boat as the OP. I have watched the first 30 episodes and I still haven't had a laugh out loud moment. I just can't get into this show and I probably won't watch anymore.

No, it went fine. I'll continue to watch because y'all are so adamant about it's greatness.
