It doesn't matter if you are an actor or errand boy. I'm just wondering because I have a relative that's been in the industry for a long time and has worked on some very well known movies and TV shows. Her ex husband also, who has won an Oscar, but passed recently.
I've thought I've seen a few posters mention being in the industry and wanted to know if they knew them.
This isn't a name drop thread because they aren't actors or anything that would make them famous. They are just well known in the movie industry.

I was wrong about him winning an Oscar. It was actually an Emmy. I never knew of some of his earliest work or his last few. He did Apocalypse Now, Zero Dark Thirty, Jarhead, Galaxy Quest and many more well known movies. The last one he finished before he died was the new Fantastic Four coming out in 2015.
She had some cool ones too like Striptease, Hidalgo, Bugsy and more. Twilight also but I should have skipped that one.
I'm just now finding out about his major work because he never mentioned it when I was around him. It blew my mind.

What movies were you extras in, if you don't mind me asking? Because they have done some films in Louisiana.

Her name is Carlane Passman and was married to George Little. Both Costume Designers.

I'm in development at a pretty big production company. Not gonna say which one on here though.
I don't know many costume designers personally. Set work and below the line staff aren't really my area.
Did her ex win an Oscar in costumes?

He won an Emmy I think. I'll check his IMDB or FB page to make sure.

Yeah I can't say I know them. I see Little worked on Apocalypse Now. That's awesome.

Apocoplyse Now was the one that I didn't find out until after his death. And the Emmy was shared with another Costume Designer for a mini- series in the late 80's called Lincoln.
