Are screen names less common today - and your favorite sn/real name combo?

Seems like back in the day, screen names were more common - John Wayne (Marion Morrison), Marylin Monroe (Norma Jean Mortenson), Rock Hudson (Leroy Harold Scherer, Jr.), Cary Grant (Archibald Alexander Leach), etc.
It kind of seems the use of real names is increasing lately though. Best I can tell, names like Leonardo DiCaprio, Liam Neeson, Michael Fassbender are real names and are the types of names which well might have been changed in favor of screen names in past years.
And some favorite (or at least surprising) real name/screen name combos:
Helen Mireen was born Ilyena Lydia Vasilievna Mironov.
Elvis Costello was born Declan Patrick McManus
Alan Alda was born Alphonso d’Abruzzo
Bruno Mars was born Peter Gene Hernandez
and of course
Michael Keaton was born Michael Douglas.

There is an interesting story behind that name and Bishop's beginnings in stand-up comedy. I seem recall reading that he would regularly attend some comedy club but it was nearly impossible to get stage time. He figured he would come up with a unisex name because the owners might misinterpret it as being a sexy female and therefore grant him some time.

Imogen Poots ... I maybe would want to change that one!
