this show is pretty good. I know its fake and half of it at least is implausible but its been pretty entertaining to watch.

I tried and I do think Spader provides a praiseworthy effort with his bizarre character, someone here once described Red as a cross between James Bond and Buddha, but I gave up on the show.
All the FBI personnel are horrible especially the lead female character.
It can be fun to watch as a filler show but it's not a weekly must see for me.

Spader just kills it in that show. The other actors, ugh. YOu are right. That husband of Kane's is such an emo. He deserves to get bitch slapped by her on a daily basis. I'm near the end of season 1.
Her being his daughter. Who couldn't see that one coming? Figured that out in the first episode.
But then again, we are talking about a veteran Hollywood actor who played interesting characters over the years versus a bunch of no names who finally made it to prime time.
I take it back. The black guy who heads the team plays the fumbling bureaucrat quite well.

I watch it. That being said, they have the formula down to a Law and Order type level.
1. Kane is being emo.
2. James Spader decides to give her a name on the Blacklist that has a connection to her personal problem.
3. Someone in the FBI questions why the hell Spader is giving names on the Blacklist.
4. Bickering.
5. Event happens having to do with Blacklister.
6. James Spader says see, I told you so and takes a more personal interest.
7. More bickering, and someone suggests Spader is behind it all.
8. Kane says guys, we need to trust him.
9. Spader gets captured or meets with bad guys.
10. Kane has moment of weakness.
11. Guy is captured in the nick of time.
12. Kane gets a small part of her past revealed, and either hates/loves Reddington.
13. And scene.
Rinse and repeat daily until the rash goes away.

I don't blame him though. Molly looked a hot mess in that movie.
