Anyone watch Attack on Titan here?

I think the Paradisians’ goal is to take down the Marleyan government and every other government that is still trying to persecute them. If they do that then they believe they would be totally free.

Most will be revealed soon if you don't read the manga.

But at this point in the series.

Paradise is 100 years behind the rest of the world because the 1st/145th King.

It was a plan by the Tybur's and the King to retire from the world.

Both families made the same hands off mistake that led to the current state of the world and produced two oddly similar men, Reiner and Eren.

Eren is taking the Attack Titans mission to it's logical extreme.

Marley wants the resources and the Coordinate from Paradis to maintain its supremacy as the rest of the world catches up to its Titans.

I was worried when it switched studios but in loving season 4 already... they have done a great job so far

I caught up last week. Though I caved and watched the subs (no spoilers for dub viewers below).

After the Eldian empire was “defeated” and their king fled to the island, the Marleyans (who led the revolution) ironically just carried on with what the Eldians were doing by creating their own empire using titans. Eren has gone physco. He’s essentially on a revenge tour but also wants to put fear into everyone that opposes them. Which is most of the world.

To destroy Marley....if you are not sure why then just go back on a rewatch the series. Though episode one makes it pretty clear why at this point.

I binged the first 3 seasons and got current on season 4 in less than a week a few weeks ago. It's an incredible show and I never thought I would like it as much as I do.

From my understanding so far, the Marleyans want to reclaim all of the 9 titans, and especially the founding titan, to aid them in their many wars.

The scouts and Paradis want to live in peace and be free of the confines of the wall.

Eren just wants to watch the world burn.

Not that much is left out but the story telling is different and far less linear. Season 3, specifically the first half compressed some story telling for the sake of fitting it all in, but the core story is all there.

I think it's worth a read for sure.

Edited to add, I'm only halfway through reading the manga myself. However I did look into what if anything was missing from the anime.

That might explain why her Japanese voice actor sounds a bit ambiguous too. Though the VC is way too boring for someone as eccentric as her character.
