Why do you care then?

Because I am sick of stupid people believing stupid things and I have to "fake" believe with them IRL due to my job.

Once all the bullshite is gone, I can stop being asked "what church do you go to" as the initial question when I meet someone. Then have to decide how this will affect me in the future if I tell them the truth rather than making shite up about my beliefs.

It is the same inquisition now on a smaller personal scale as it was back in the day.

Someone gave a synopsis of the movie on my Facebook. Why even call this Noah? It bears little resemblance to the biblical story.

And I'm sick of stupid people telling me what I should or should not believe.

But it doesn't go against Christian beliefs. The film admits there is a higher power involved.

It's unfortunate that your brilliance hasn't led to better jobs elsewhere.

Nah, but if it is a bible movie, I will only go see it if does not only pander to christians. I don't want to be in a movie theater with people yelling "amen" and raising their arms and shite like that.

So you've never watched The Ten Commandments, Ben-Hur, The Passion of the Christ, or The Prince of Egypt?

Your bigotry is keeping you from a lot of really good movies.

But at least I realize the Earth is older than 10K years old.

I always love when the learned toss this one out

First, how is our 'day' determined to be 24 hours? Isnt it the time the Earth takes to rotate relative to the sun?

But, wait a minute, the Sun and Moon werent even created until the 4th 'day', amirite?
quote:

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Yes! Yes I am right

So how come all you atheist smarty pants cling to that falsehood as proof of something? Maybe cuz youre really not all that smart?

Oh, and rock people. Thats probably something else youll laugh about Christians believing after watching Noah

PS, rock people, not in the Bible either

"It's unfortunate that your brilliance hasn't led to better jobs elsewhere."

I own a half a million dollar a year business. Try again. I make that much, because I have to lie to many of my current or potential clients about my religious beliefs.

Christians are touchy today? Is it something to do with not eating enough meat?

Why would a "day" in Genesis be something other than a day?

Well, in your own words and beliefs, youll be long dead by the time "the bullshite is gone" (its not going anywhere btw)

So again, why do you care?

Youre the one that created a thread in order to pound your chest about being an atheist.

You couldve easily just asked for a review of the movie.
