Preview looks like it has potential for good interaction between the kid and Mickey Rourke, critic reviews are mixed. I guess it's a story similar to St. Vincent's?

Saw this tonight. It's a well-meaning film with its heart in the right place. Storytelling is a little clunky. Probably Rourke's most likeable role. I'd describe it as Dead Poet's Society meets Grosse Point Blanke.
