Anyone have a Twilight Zone type of Twilight Zone moment?

Last week I was in a Mad Men mood and rematched the first couple seasons. So late one night I'm watching one of the early episodes, and Paul is showing Peggy around the office. When they get to Pete's office, he breaks into a Rod Serling impression and asks her if she's seen Twilight Zone. So naturally I start thinking about Twilight Zone, and the episode that pops into my mind is "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street" (the one where aliens get the neighborhood folks to turn on each other). Totally random - just for some reason I started thinking about that particular episode. The next morning, I turn on the TV and start flipping through channels looking for something to watch and see that the Twilight Zone is on. Since it was already on my mind, I decided to watch one and flip to that channel. What episode was on? The Monsters are Due on Maple Street.
Cue Twilight Zone music...

I've always had a problem with the Columbus Blue Jackets hockey team. I follow sports pretty good... I know where all the teams are, but I noticed around 2007 or so that there was a NHL hockey team in Columbus called the Blue Jackets. I thought, okay, it's a new team that started up this year. NO... they've been playing for SEVEN YEARS. What the frick??
How could a major sports franchise escape my consciousness for seven years? I was blown away. It was like someone edited the timeline and stuck them in there.
Fast forward to last year. A friend of mine and I are talking about sports, and he just randomly says... The Columbus Blue Jackets... I didn't even know they were a team, and they've been playing for 15 years. How did I miss that?
Weird, man...

We've had to retcon a lot of things into your life since the accident.

That happens to me sometimes too.
A scene or image of a favorite show (not just The Twilight Zone) will randomly, fleetingly cross my mind, and I'll be gd if that very episode comes on that night if I'm watching it.
Happens to me with The Honeymooners, ELRaymond, and Seinfeld, among others. Also sometimes I'll be thinking of a favorite movie I haven't seen for awhile and it will come on.
I guess we all have a rudimentary version of deja-vu or telepathy that we don't even realize.
