I would say that the $500,000 is what got Donna in as partner because Harvey and Louis need the money to keep the firm afloat. But, where the hell does a secretary get that kind of money? Is she even considered a legal assistant? That was really bad.

Yea, I think her title is executive assistant. In real life she makes $100k tops. $100k in New York City is not much. How much extra was Harvey giving her?

I guess if that's how much she made every year for the past 5 years and saved 250-300k she could've gotten a loan for the rest. That's still a stretch, but it's at least plausible from a money perspective.

She had an offer to sell "the Donna" I thought. I just assumed she cashed that venture out to put in with them.

I find it crazy that she would be a partner also and have no idea what her role would be. They will have to make her managing partner by the end of the year to give her something to do, manage people.

As far as I know Meghan Markle is still in the show. If she's not, you can pretty much count me out. I think she's up there in the conversation for most beautiful woman alive.

Just watched. I am not a fan at all of just giving Donna a Senior Partner position just like that. Really? A secretary? Of course I'll keep watched but this show has definitely jumped the shark. Hopefully they do some type of vote with the other partners

So frustrated with this show. I was late to the game and binge watched several seasons. And it feels like as soon as I caught up is when the show became ridiculous....and it's getting more absurd. Secretary becoming a partner??? Remember how big of a deal it was for Harvey and Louis to become partner?

Bump for tonight. Glad Donna is not going to be partner, but still CEO is a stretch.

frick Mike that annoying count, he was in prison and was all like "what about muh feelings! Don't you ever think about me? How can you be so selfish?" To the other inmates...

Not reading this thread because I have yet to watch any of season 7. How is it so far? Is it worth continuing the journey of Mike and Harvey. More specifically Rachel and Donna?

The women on that show make me happy in my pants especially Sarah Rafferty! Meagan Markle will quit if she becomes queen in waiting. (Yes I know Harry will probably never be king!)

I like season 7 so far, so yes I would recommend you keep going.

The Louis storyline alone is worth a watch IMO.

I'm getting really tired of the Louis Litt roller coaster. Everybody hates on Mike for whining, but Louis is far worse. Either let Louis grow as a person or turn him into a full blown villain.

just watched the last two episodes and the show seems to be drawing down on its appeal for me. Some of the dumb shite that they contrive is getting out there. On the last episode, a guy who nearly shite his pants on a nothing case last season (oliver) bluffed a huge settlement offer out of a huge company and is now going to take on a class action suit. Then, after Mike has told him repeatedly that he can't be seen with him, Oliver comes to the firm and even calls him on the phone.

Yeah, I agree about Oliver. Only thing I would point out is Mike told him what to do. I'm assuming they are setting this up for a different dynamic with Harvey and Mike since Mike has to go back on his word about not helping out with the case.

No question that it's setting up as a weaker story line than previous seasons.
