Thought the first 2/3 of the movie was extremely solid then the last third just required too much suspension of disbelief
So I'm supposed to believe the criminal just happens to come across the detective on his case

I loved it. You have to have some kind of resolution, and I'm down with they way they chose to do it. IMO, there aren't degrees of suspension of disbelief. You buy it, or you don't. The story is the story.
