Something kind of odd and unusual I noticed he did quite frequently wondered if this was something the real pablo did a lot or something.

i was very impressed with how close to the real photos they were with shooting the series. the rooftop 'finale' was a dead-ringer for the actual photos taken from the scene.

In the 2 season the actor didn't put on as much weight as he did in season 1. He wore a fat suit or something like it. So maybe that had something to do with it.

I heard in an interview with one of the creators that the actor watched a ton of actual video footage of Pablo, and he emulated his mannerisms very accurately.
