Watched while on the treadmill. Kind of felt bad for Bartman after that. Interesting how they interviewed some of the fans around him who also reached for the ball. They seemed to feel bad for the guy.

And just another reason I hope the Cubs suck forever

It was tough to watch as a Cubs fan but I thought the director did a great job, especially brining up the stuff i've been telling friends for years but no one mentions... like Alex Gonzalez's easy double-play chance, or the third head of the monster Kerry Wood going the next night, or the cubs going up in game 7.. 3-0, then 5-3 and still losing that game.
Never thought about how much Alou's reaction influenced the mood in the stadium. If he just walks away and keeps the anger to himself, how does that influence momentum?

If you haven't seen it yet, I wouldn't get my hopes up about it. 25% of it is Red Sox crap about Buckner, basically saying you have to win a WS for fans to forget about Bartman. Also, shortstop screwed up and could have sent them to the next inning, there, i saved you 2 hrs

GoldenTiger85 is the guy who threw beer on Bartman.
Do not listen to him.
Watch the documentary.

I enjoyed the documentary... but, seriously, leave it to a BoSox fan (director) to bring all their tears from the Buckner situation in 1986 to a story about the fricking Cubs in 2003.
I thought the parallels were good and well-founded, but the first 30 minutes and the last 30 minutes was nearly all Buckner shite.
Maybe this 30 for 30 should have been called "The Baseball Scapegoat" because it nearly was just as much about the SAWUCKS as it was about the Cubbies.

I'm a Mets fan Married to a Sox fan, so the Buckner stuff is more personal to me than the Cubs stuff. (We watched the Buckner game together when we were dating, so it's burned in my memory.)
The Buckner stuff was interesting. I'd never seen any extensive interviews with him. It was cool.

I always knew about Alex Gonzalez's screwed up out, never realized it would've been an easy double play.
I feel bad for Bartman. Guy is the perfect scapegoat for Cubs fans.
