Tim Burton: ‘My Days With Disney Are Done’ Because Of ‘Homogenized’ Content Like Marvel Multiverse

Lol.

"My days with Disney are done now that I've taken some huge paychecks to helm creatively bankrupt reboots of cartoons, and done some serious work to popularize the current homogenous look of the modern cgi blockbuster. Now that I'm a shell of myself, after turning in a personality-free version of a classic that will probably be remembered as one of the worst of Disney's ill-advised trend of remaking its own classics, these Multiverse movies are just a bridge too far."

Cool, Tim. Lol at blueboy for eating up nonsense like this.

Because how dare you find the strong, powerful, independent women sexy! that’s why they do it. The best way for a true feminist to fight the patriarchy is to make themselves ugly

She's been rocking awful haircuts since before the pandemic started. There for a while she was dropping videos that made her look like a crazy shut in.

He has made 9 movies since 2005 and just 2 of them were original concepts w/one of those being a biopic.

What, you mean the bullshite narrative you made up?

I'm not the president of his fan club but his worst movies are still better than the best crap Disney is currently producing.

Dark Shadows and Alice In Wonderland aren't better than a single MCU movie.

Looks like she did this for another role about a character dying. Looks like she fried her hair doing a dye job after scrolling through her IG.

Nope.

Having Johnny and Sue being different races was dumb

So now rather than their set pieces being big cities, Marvel movies will all be set in nondescript universes with rocks and lights flying everywhere.

Very original.

Technically that was He Who Remains, who has an entirely different personality than Kang the Conqueror.

I'm not sure what your expectations are. Long time fans of these properties are sick of studios race/gender/sex swapping characters that they didn't create in order to hit some imaginary quota number that will never meet a goal. Is it that surprising that people won't turn out to see movies that are these characters in name only?

This is a HUGE problem in current entertainment in film, tv and even comic books. Creatives are using the names and legacies of characters to push their own creation that doesn't even resemble the IP they are using. It should be obvious why they do this.

At least when marvel uses less popular characters in the MCU like America Chavez and Kamala Khan, they are ORIGINAL characters.

So what you're saying is you didn't pay attention when watching Loki at all b/c that Kang clearly stated there were many more Kangs w/several being far far worse people than him.

What I'm saying is the actor was pretty terrible. Will he be any better in the other "forms" of Kang? Possibly- but I didn't like him at all in the role. I doubt it will be any different.
