Because someone setup an awesome(and expensive) make a wish for this kid, his story blew up in the media. Other lazy media latch on to the easy ratings getting story and run it into the ground.
The lazy media do the same thing with many other stories that deserve much less attention than Batkid, so instead of "Why does one kid get all this?", why aren't you complaining about the breaking news story every time Miley Cyrus changes her hair color?

Im not fricking trolling. There are black kids in Louisiana with HIV, orphans in India with Aids, and I just read about a boy in Minnesota who cant afford food or his treatment. There are other people who need help. And I couldn't give less of a shite what Miley Cyrus or her bitchass dad do. That's why I don't complain or bother to post.

I don't understand your outrage. This child survived cancer and they're doing something nice for him. Just because there are thousands/millions of others with similar problems doesn't mean they can't make this child happy.

When the city shut down for him months ago he was reportedly a survivor. Which confuses me since I thought make a wish was for kids still sick.
