I have not watch the series but wanted MTV board's take on the series. I hear it was ok. ObiWan was ok, but not very good story wise.

I tried to watch it. I made it to about the middle of the second episode but I couldn't get past the fact that it looked like a cheap SW fan-made production.

I tried watching it at least twice now. I made it to the middle of the season, but man I was bored. Supposedly the season finale was good. The vibe is very different than most star wars stuff. Idk just slow and quite a few different story lines that I just could not get behind.

Its my favorite of the Disney era SW content. Some will find it boring as its not blasters goes pew pew every episode but instead its a slow burn political/spy thriller set in the SW universe that shows the beginning of the rebellion.

Andor is an awesome show. No, it's not all laser blasts and quips if that's what you are looking for. It is a slow burn at first. The story builds and builds and by it's conclusion it is it is considered the best Star Wars series to date.

It's a slow burn. It can get a little boring in the first few episodes but it gets really good. The Andor story is the critical turning point in the rebellion. I enjoyed it.

Reminds me of Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad. The story moves a long but at a snails pace. Ok, think I will give it a try.

It's one of those shows where you either love it or hate it. For some the slow burn pace/storyline is good, but for those people looking for a more faster pace with action then this is not a show for them.

Really? I thought it looked like it had the best and highest production value of any the other SW shows, and by a fair margin.

One of the best SW shows for me to come out. As others mentioned can be slow but it is well worth the build up and I can not wait for the 2nd season.

I understand SW, especially since Disney has bought it, has become more about the special effects and fighting but has also lacked a great story. I feel Andor does it and the main difference is the target audience seems not to be geared towards kids.

It is what expansion of the Star Wars universe should look like. It gives back story of how the rebel alliance came into being and at it's heart it's about ordinary people fighting fascism, which is a good story for the times we live in.

If you're looking for light saber fights and space battles and pew pew, this probably isn't your show. If you're looking for a good story with good characters that tells the type of underdog story that usually resonates with Americans, then you should watch it.

Back to the OT quality which is what made SW.

I know it will sound blasphemous, but I think it's better. It felt like ambitious young Lucas created it with old George Lucas money while having a competent writer create the dialogue with very good actors delivering the performance.

It's one of my favorite shows in general right now. It's a good story that just happens to take place in the Star Wars universe. In stead of the force and lightsabers, you have the empire as bureaucracy that has to out source issues. Its a good.

I may not agree with the word better but definitely an evolved OT Star Wars meant for an audience that that were children when they first saw the OT...like me, and were looking for something different. A more mature take on the universe.

The only people I have heard that hated it were people that turned it off after the first or second episode.

That is how I see it and probably why I like it so much.

I would agree and why the OT was so great but now unlimited resources.

One of the best Star Wars series out there now. Kids are fine to watch it, but it is really for adults. Like Rogue One, it is the Star Wars Universe from the back side.
