I'm not sure it started out that way, many of the Ancient Astronaut Theorists are authors who have published books on related ideas. But how much "solid" or at least book worthy Ancient Alien evidence is there? Maybe enough for 1 season, they are now on season 8. But it's still fun to watch even though I know they are making ridiculous reaches.

When were they discovered?

Some time in 2015. I can't remember the exact date. The ice melted away and revealed the top.

Pyramids are found all over the planet and at one time Antarctica has a much more temperate climate. Not out of the realm of possibility but the source of the pyramids, if indeed that's what they prove to be, will likely never be settled.

On the show, they said that it was about 12,000 years ago that there was no ice on Antarctica. Don't know how accurate that is. Take it FWIW.

I feel like I am taking the CPA exam every time I watch this stupid show. And if they landed here, why did they? If there was no evidence before they showed up why wasn't there?

I get a headache every time I watch that ridiculous show. I'm like - "go look at the f'ing thing and tell me".

Once they hook you in trying to answer their un-answerable questions, you now believe in aliens. That's why the whole fricking show is asking YOU (sitting on your fricking couch) how this happened.

I just watched the last show on History.com because of this stupid post. Why did Billy Bop Burp do his map 10,000 years ago and it be 1,000 miles off of how it should be today???? Well I don't fricking know maybe the MF'er didn't have an airplane or survey crew, YOU THINK?????

You missed the entire point of the show, but somehow are trying to prove their point at the same time. They were saying that there was a map of the continent (300 years before I think) it was officially discovered. Of course they didn't have an airplane which is why the ancient astronaut theorists say it was aliens who gave the map maker the information.

I don't catch every episode but if I'm home and AA is on then I'm watching. It's entertaining and provides a surprising amount of historical contents.

Kind of strange they didn't go take a sample.

I'm not sure how accessible it is. Someone spotted it when flying over. But, I agree with you. It seems like someone, somewhere has a vehicle that can get their, whether it be by air or land.

Someone needs to place a call into the Reich (4th I think) since they have a UFO base there. They should be able to clear all this up.
