I feel like this is fairly obvious.

I thought so too, but the questions people were asking made me start to doubt how obvious it was.

Yeah I think everyone in the house including the psychopath kid are ghosts and possibly even the burnt up guy. When the guy was calling to report the psychopath kid he didn't have a name, social, or any other info on him. I liked it but hope it isn't too weird to keep people interested.

All this shite happened in the first episode? Sounds like a horror nip/tuck. Definitely will be checking it out, sounds insane.

Yea it was pretty insane but I like shows that keep me wondering what the hell is going on. Same creator as Nip/Tuck so that's part of the formula.

I presuming you know it's from the same guy, right?

It was a good show.

After watching, I wondered about the sustainability of a horror show week-to-week. Part of the "thrill" of horror is that it's typically a 2-hour shock factor from what you typically see. How does that work over the course of seeing similar things every week.

However, if they tell a good story, it should be plenty compelling.

They did indeed set the bar high with their pilot. Hopefully they'll be able to keep it up.

The whole scene with the did in the leather suit freaked me out. It's also very strange to see Britton go from her goody good role in Friday night lights to this extremely dark series

From what I have read online, all the different plot lines and the main fact being you are always getting clues to finding out what happened to cause the house to be haunted originally is what they are counting on to keep you hooked. Usually a horror movie lets you know the reason for the haunting pretty early.

Hm i didnt notice this

If he is the one in the black suit that fiddled the wife, and he is a ghost, and he got her pregnant, then how does that work? like is the baby a ghost? half ghost? isnt real?

this is why the more I think about what I saw, the more I love it.

She and her husband did the bone dance before Leather Ghost poled her so the kid (if there is one) is the dad's.

All the people in the house are ghosts that is obvious. The teenage boy, neighbors, gingers, housekeeper, etc. The scarface guy is real and the school bullies are real. Thats it.

She is having a demon baby or something. I thought this was pretty awesome, but could really take a dive if it gets all campy or tries to be weird just for the sake of being weird.

"You buried your sorrow in some 21 year old's pussy." and the kid just randomly writing "taint" on the wall. Weird and intriguing.

I'm not one for gore ala: Saw series. This is a well done, high caliber cast, well written, psychological thriller.

This show is WICKED. Mirrors to HBO quality judging from the pilot.

Jessica Lang crushes it. Hard to imagine her as the mother form BIG FISH. (one of my favorite films)

As someone mentioned earlier, the plot line will construct backwards. We will learn more of the demons/spirits in reverse order building to a climax. The plot holes are clearly intentional and serve to heighten the suspense.

Bottom line, this show is original in premiss, in vocative in plot, high caliber in performances, personally engaging and really fricking wicked.

Just watched the pilot. VERY WELL DONE. Got a new show to watch and the score to it brings it all together real nice. The young maid... And the opening credits are screwed up.

the wife and I finally watched this last night. I have to admit... i have been thinking about the show since. I could have done without all the man arse, but i will take it if Coach taylor's wife will show her arse too!

btw... i also think everyone introduced in the house is a ghost including the teenage boy.
