He’s good but likely far to thin.

Crazy talkative guy from Ontario gonna get it. He'd fattened up & already a loner.

I think the tall brunette & your Ontario guy are the 2 front runners.

Dude that lost his quiver is done. Forgone conclusion there.

Yes. They can also use gillnets. The only thing they've mentioned that is off limits to kill are caribou.

I think Cade will be departing soon. Not only did he lose his arrows he's already talking up his family and mentioned his wife miscarried just before he left. That's going to stay in his head and take him out eventually.

On the women's side, I think Jodi is being really smart building the log cabin immediately while she has energy. She may have a legit chance of being the first woman to win.

This entire cast appears to be really capable. It's shaping up to be a good season.

Oh yeah, you could tell he basically mentally tapped right there.

My favorites so far are Lee Ray and Luke.

Thought ep. 2 was tonight

Takeaways from ep. 1:

Dude who lost his quiver is gone. he ddn't gain weight because of how great of a hunter he is, but walks who knows how long without realizing your quiver is no longer connected to your bow Not to mention that it looks like he built a very nice shelter rather quickly and they didn't spend any time showing him build it. Bye.

I like the older fella, but he ain't making it either. Wasting energy on building a boat/raft never pays off. It takes too much time and energy. Just use your gill net. Unless I missed something to where he is making it so he can go set up a gill net.

Big dude might surprise me. He put on a ton of weight. I mean his entire camera angle was of his giant belly the entire episode. Although he missed the bear, he looks like he can actually shoot. I think he needs to get going on a shelter though.

I feel like this season might actually have a few big game kills. I don't recall anybody ever even getting a shot off on a bear before.

Looking forward to episode 2 to meet the rest of the bunch.

My early money is on Lee. He basically lived this way for half his life. James might be decent. I like Jodi. And was it Cade? The big time hunter who lost his quiver. LMAO! He gone.

Started episode 2 tonight until my 8 week old had her crying episode and had to shut it down for the night.

I like the long hair guy from Canada. The dude who gets lost won’t make it very long.

I haven’t finished the second episode yet, but my money is on the Alaskan dude on the king haired guy from tonight. I really need to learn the names

Gill net + Fish traps would definitely be the way to go before the freeze hits.

Interesting to see no one collect enough berries to build a cache for them yet.
