I felt like we were getting the ending of LOST through the story.

Starring Johnny Depp as The Wicked Witch of the West. Seriously, he looks more and more womanish every day. Creepy.

I thought the movie was great.. More of a combination of the first and second books.

Funny how everyone forgot about "Through the Looking Glass" when saying it was a diff story. Just seems like he combined a bit of both books.

My little girl is 6 and I took her last night to see it. She loved it. She always loves Tim Burton movies though.

nah, disagree with you, Burton's weirdass wife after this performance in Alice would be the perfect witch, but I hear ya, Johnny D would make a wonderful Michael Jackson if he would be willing to learn to dance.

Just for some reason reminds me of what I saw when I was a kid.

Best Disney movie, probably this would fall somewhat short.

this movie was awesome. i just think it speaks volumes to girls specifically. my little sister fell in love with the story and the whole female empowerment thing.

beat me to it. it was just a combination of both. had characters from both.
i thought it was alright. nothing special but not terrible.
i actually would have liked it alot more if it wasnt for that rediculous pop lockin dance they used. that physically hurt me to watch. they actually dropped a beat when he started dancing. i was like wtf.

The Wizard of Oz is kind of dark.

Though it would be better for him to take on Wicked.

Tim Burton's formula:

1. Borrow from an old story, movie, play, etc. but give it a darker twist.

2. Cast Johnny Depp.

3. Add kooky gothic visuals.

4. Repeat.

and cast Helena Bonham Carter
