Haven't watched it in a long time but I caught the How Did This Get Made podcast on it recently so I thought I should give it another look. What a terrible movie. Its just all over the place. A 57 year old James Bond running around in a movie that's trying to be the 80's version of Goldfinger.

As a kid, I legitmately thought Grace Jones was Wesley Snipes in drag for multiple years.

"No Body Does It Better", "Live and Let Die", and "For Your Eyes Only" laugh in your face.

I could stomach everything but Grace Jones as a bond girl.

1) Timothy Dalton wasn't in this one
2) License to Kill is awesome
3) They certainly weren't PC. License to Kill is easily the most violent Bond movie.
4) You clearly don't know anything about Bond, so stop.

Amazing that they went from For Your Eyes Only (one of the best Bond films) to Octopussy and A View to a Kill (two of the worst).

I always enjoyed Octopussy, although it doesn't have a great critical reputation. Even as a kid I could tell A View to A Kill was absurd, although Christopher Walken was great

I appreciate all Bond movies for their place in cinema. Personally, I'd rather watch A view to a kill over most of the 90's Pierce Brosnan explosion filled movies...

I love me some Christopher Walken.

Mayday was just horrible though.

I havent seen it in ages but I always liked it, it's just not as widely praised as License to Kill. The plot was borderline incomprehensible though

It still wasn't as shitty as Quantum, and if you can't enjoy it just for fine arse Tonya Roberts, your penis isn't functioning properly.

And Duran Duran is awesome.

ETA: DANCE!!! INTO THE FIYA!!!
