Super Mario Brothers came out in 90s, as did Double Dragon, Street Fighter and Mortal Combat. Wing Commander, Resident Evil and Tomb Raider were 2000s. I can't think of any other video game movies.

FYI I voted for Dragons Lair on the Steam Greenlight board and you should too! So many quarters lost to that game!

Not a movie, but wasn't there a Dragon's Lair cartoon on TV?

War Games (some scenes taken in arcades. I like looking at the games in the background).
Cloak & Dagger (really cool atari 5200 scenes)
Tron ( I played the CRAP out of this game when I was a kid. No telling how many quarters I put in it. I liked the light cycle part the best).
Krull

There was an Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom video game but you don't really think of that when you think of Indiana Jones.

All I can think of off the top of my head.

I went to the Beau Rivage casino and ended up spending my time in the arcade room. It was surprisingly busy which brought joy to my heart knowing they still have these things.

Krull was a video game movie?

Or are you talking about movies that video games made from?

I had the same question. I could be wrong, but it seems like the OP is assuming that Tron and Krull were video games first, before they were made into movies.

Same here. I don't think there were any movies based on video games. They didn't start basing movies on video games until they REALLY started running out of ideas (yes, because they're so smart and creative).

At best, you could say that the Tron game and movie came out at the same time. The only thing that seems to fit the OP's definition (or what I perceive it to be) would be the Pac Man TV cartoon.

Which sucked.
