9% with 116 reviews in. . .

Apparently the fish odor in the theater made the film experience repulsive to some.

This is not surprising. Any film critic would destroy this movie

If I'm honest, the trailer looked decent.

By comparison, 50 Shades of Grey got 25%.

So the sequel is only 36% as good

I watched it Friday night, and I didn't think it was that bad. It's not something I plan on ever seeing again but those reviews are far too harsh.

A film about BDSM being rated by a bunch of virgins.

The success of the horrible book (which began its life as Twilight fan fiction, btw) and first movie makes me sad for the human race.

I saw the first in theaters on valentines with my wife.

The lady behind me was literally panting during the sex scenes. It was so loud

And my wife was randy as hell after. I'm definitely checking this one out with wifey.

This. It should infuriate all of you that some dumb broad got rich and famous writing this garbage. It's honestly the biggest steaming pile of shite that ever found its way to being published.

Why would that piss me off?

I'd write some dumb shite too if it made me rich. Good for her.

Well, there are more hate than love for this 50 shades series so there's hope for mankind.

It's only geared towards women as audience. When i say women, I'm talking about uneducated ones who don't know what they want in life.

The typical "you don't know women" to brush off any arguments. Lazy and weak.

In order to understand why certain women gravitate towards violence during sex, you have to know about evolutionary psychology. But this is a movie board so no need to dive into it.

9% with critics. 66% with audience.

Wife went to see it at a morning showing. The theater is usually dead for early shows, but she said it was packed with women. The only dudes were husbands who got dragged along.

Going to this movie is like watching kids play T-ball when you could be watching the Yankees play the Red Sox. If I want porn, I'll watch real damn porn.

This book series was such a great opportunity to make a truly disturbingly raunchy sex film and have the masses see it.

Such a letdown. Might as well be G rated.
