The writers have admitted such. They said they never had a problem coming up with 12 excellent episodes each season, it was the other 12 that were difficult. I think the new format is going to help them make the show even better than it was.

I read an interview Kiefer did and he didn't spoil anything. He just said Jack comes back for his family (Chloe included obviously) and not his country. He's PISSED at the U.S.and he's back to doing what he wants.

Was I the only one that kept hoping Chloe would get killed off season after season? For some reason she just rubbed me the wrong way. It seemed like she only had two expressions on her face. She either looked liked she had just caught a wiff of a fart and was pissed about it, or she was upset because someone busted her for letting one slip out. Either way, someone farted and it apparently upset her for the whole day.
