I saw on the betting lines that last year's champs nick hardy and Davis riley are the underdog today to sepp straka and brice garnett

About 4-5 ago you had about 10 of the Top 20 in the field, but that dwindled a bit and then LIV took away a lot of the guys that used to come her regularly, and with the PGA Tour making last week an elevated event not a ton of players wanted to play 3-4 weeks in a row. So the field isn’t as strong as it once was.

Holy cow there’s a pin location on one of these greens where you’re playing a good 12 inches out from the cup from only ~4 feet

The last foot snaps so hard.

Robert McIntyer and his partner Thomas Detry have posted a -10 in the morning round. Big shot Bob played collegiately at McNeese St before being a member on the winning European Ryder Cup Team this past Fall.

Rory has a huge following. Broadcasters said it looks like a major with the huge Thursday crowd following his group.

Its also in New Orleans on a beautiful day. That's all the excuse people in Louisiana need to get out and drink some beers.

Round 2 ready to fire up.

Round 2 will be a Foursomes format.

quote:

Foursomes, also known as alternate shot, is a pairs playing format in the sport of golf. Golfers compete in teams of two, using only one ball per team, and taking alternate shots until the hole is completed.
