He should sue the NFL for defamation of character. Could cost him millions of dollars in endorsements.

The dude is the poster child for entitled shitbag pro athletes. The absolute Anti-Dak in pretty much every off-the-field way possible. I think his "character" could use a little time for self-improvement.

Pretty much every realistic Cowboy fan I know has been begrudgingly throttling back their giddy Elliot-integral "dynasty dreams" - not TRULY buying in until Zeke reaches his 2nd contract...

To me - this could read like she had lied previously to cover Zeke's arse and asked her friend to do the same... but now she wants the person to tell what actually happened.
Of course that's what you could read it like. Obviously as biased ad some of us are as Zeke fans, you're the complete opposite.

It's just that you seem to want to believe things that have been proven otherwise, like this. There is an affidavit, and it's been posted in this thread, so you don't need to "read it like" anything.

No - It's that at one point in my life - I worked front office for one of this area's professional franchises...and for a good bit of the rest of my life - I've been associated with quite a few of the upscale bars and restaurants in and around Dallas. I've met a LOT of Cowboys over the years...and I can tell you that, unfortunately, they have a history of covering up players' despicable behavior. I'm not saying this based on rumors/hearsay, either. You get a feel for "the type" after a while.

Eventually one of us is going to be wrong regarding Zeke. I honestly hope that it turns out to be me.

That's how I read it at first, too.

And I don't think you or anybody criticizing his immaturity and poor decision-making in general, it's just this the NFL picked an odd case to take its stand on DV since the accuser has already shown a willingness to not only lie, but essentially frame him.

It's like choosing Mattress girl or Rolling Stones accuser to take a stand on college sexual assault.

I think this whole thing may have blown over if it weren't for "a pattern" of violent behavior potentially forming (thanks to the nightclub sucker-punch that suddenly nobody can remember anything about... except a guy somehow managed to THROW A PUNCH OVER ZEKE'S SHOULDER and bloody a guy's face).

But I don't think they even mentioned this, but maybe I missed it.

Something happens once - it's an isolated incident.

Happens twice? No longer isolated.

Three times? It's a pattern.

I think Goodell is in over-punish in the name of pattern prevention. Just my .02 on things.

I think it is stupid they suspended him... ok maybe for the 6 games. If they wanted to suspend him for his other infractions and say he went against the moral code fine. However, he did not participate in the domestic violence they are accusing him of.

Suspend him 4 games for pulling the girls shirt down or the fighting in the club.

But besides the parade incident, the pattern in the report is solely confined to the few days in July 2016 when he all of a sudden started and stopped beating one woman, and just that one woman. And even though that one woman lied and tried to set him up on the one occasion that we have details about.

That isn't the whole conversation. That is the second half. After they discuss What zeke is doing and blaming her bruises from fighting a girl earlier on Zeke.
