Agent Herb Rudoy says Ilgauskas has chosen to sign with Heat. Z hopes to return & be part of #Cavs organization when his career is over.

Can't say I blame him

Z ain't gonna let Lebronda ride that Wade train alone.

At first glance, I thought the title said "Zo to the Heat."

They're burning his jerseys in the streets of Cleveland as we type.

Nah. Z will be looked at completely different, IMO.

The anger over LeBron's move obviously had everything to do with how he went about doing it.

Z has battled for us a long time. More power to him! Cavs are going to have to rebuild and Z has some miles on him. Good time for him to move to a better situation for him.

Well, I think its more about:
-Lebron being the MVP and Cavs fans realizing they are more than completely fricked without him. Z, not so much
-Lebron being the hometown guy...people in NE OH have followed Lebron since he was sophomore in high school.
-Z gave everything to this organization, not sure you could say the same about Lebron, especially after game 5 of last year's playoffs.

All of those, plus he didn't have a primetime special, will all contribute to his perception.

Last year when people were throwing around trade scenarios involving Z, I said I didn't like them because I didn't want to see him traded. I didn't care about any other player, but I wanted Z to be untouched. He's such a likable guy and has really given so much to the organization.

I don't think it's a good move on the Heat's part. I'm not sure what he contributes to this team. Not a good defender, Shaq was brought in because Z couldn't handle the Magic and Lakers bigs. He literally can't move and has no athletic ability left. Than again I might just be upset that Shaq couldn't jump on the train and match or exceed Kobe's ring total.

Plenty of room for the Heat to still go after Shaq. I doubt they would turn him down if he wanted to come here for the minimum.

PG Chalmers
SG Wade
SF LBJ
PF Bosh
C Big Z

Reserves
Mike Miller
Udonis
3 draft picks

still up to 6 spots left if the heat decide to cut any of the draftees.

Can't wait to read Dan Gilbert's letter to Cavs fans about Ilgauskas' cowardly betrayal. He played 14 years in Cleveland.

If anything he will be great for the bench rotation to clog the lane.

I am just waiting for Shaq to join the team. He said he wants to play two more years. Obviously the only reason to play is to win championships and Miami is the best option. He doesn't need money and if anything he will make a frick ton of money in broadcasting anyways.

Sounds like a done deal when you put it that way. Unless Lebron doesn't want him around.

I'm not worried about Lebron. I'm not sure what Wade's stance is on Shaq though. I've never heard of any bad blood b/t the two. I'm not sure about Riley either, but I would bet if he thought getting Shaq back would help them win and the big 3 were for him being added, he wouldn't think twice about it.

Didn't the Cavs trade Z away once before anyway?

Kinda hard to get upset about him leaving after they ditched him once before

As a Cav's fan, how are you going to feel when LeBron retires and tries to sign with the Cav's so he can do so a Cleveland Cavelier?
